HSH formed in October 2012 as a revised group of parents who recognised the necessity for a fundraising group to support the school.  A new committee was formed in July 2021.

How we raise money
Throughout the year we raise money in various ways, including:

• Autumn fayre
• Christmas Tree Festiva
• Donut, cookie and ice lolly sales
• Amazon Smile
• Bingo
• Sponsored events

How we spend the money we raise
The HSH funds are spent on the ‘extras’ that are not provided by the school’s budget, thus making our children’s learning experiences so much more fulfilling and exciting.

To date we have fundraised for a new playhouse for Foundation Stage,14 laptops, 1O iPads, £1000 towards our new garden area, £10,000  towards our outdoor classroom and so much more! We have also given individual classes amounts to spend on anything they choose.

How you can get involved
If you would like to be more involved you can volunteer to be a Committee Member or to help out on an ad-hoc basis at events.
